AI Quota Pet
A local-first Windows companion with optional quota, clock, and utility modules. Each source can fail or switch off without taking down the pet.
Product preview from the public repository.
Result
A public Windows release with modular information sources, failure isolation, compatible settings migration, themes, tests, and an uninstall path.
Problem
Useful account and local-tool information is scattered across separate products. The companion keeps selected signals visible without turning the desktop into another dashboard.
Role
Independent. Design, fetch contracts, packaging, tests, and the public release.
Decisions
Keep each source optional and isolated. Retain the last usable snapshot when a source temporarily fails, support settings migration, and enter an idle state when every source is disabled.
Evidence
Public repository, v0.3.17 GitHub Release, release notes, verified packaging checks, and the historical v0.3.12 preview on this page. The capture version and current release are labelled separately.
Limits
Unofficial. Windows-first. Not an xAI, Cursor, or OpenAI product. It cannot raise quotas or bypass limits.
